When:        Monday, May  19, 2025                            

Time:        5:30 am - Meet at West Putnam bus loading zone

5:45 am Bus leaves West Putnam

8:00-8:15 am - Lebec Rest Stop Area (172 Lebec Service Rd) for Breakfast 

10:00 am Arrive to Science Center (700 Exposition Park Dr., Los Angeles) 

1:00 - 1:30  - Lunch outside Science Center

Visit UCLA campus (TBA)

5:30 pm - Load buses for return trip

7:00 - 8:00  pm - Dinner at TA Travel Center (5552 N. Wheeler Ridge Rd)

10:00 pm - Arrive at West Putnam

Why:        Students will visit exhibits that feature display zones with 

live animals and aquariums about wildlife and adaptation in different ecosystems, including a river, desert, polar region, deep sea, ocean, island and urban areas, as well as the entire planet Earth, including a 188,000-gallon kelp tank populated with more than 1,500 live fish, kelp and other marine life with an acrylic tunnel which allows guests to feel surrounded by the sea life.  (Meets Science Standards for CA)

Students will also explore UCLA’s beautiful campus, the tradition of academic excellence, the vibrant student body and vast array of resources and opportunities.
